CODE OF ADVERTISING SELF-REGULATION

In the framework of continuous commitment that we maintain in Cerveceros de España to the citizens and independent of the compliance with current legal and administrative standards, in 1995 our sector reached an unprecedented agreement in the beverage sector of Spain, so that all sales communications regarding beer were legal, honest, true and in accordance with the principles of fair competition and good sales practices; they are created with sense of Social Responsibility, based on the principles of good faith and equality for the implicated parties, and under no circumstances transgress the limits of human ethics, dignity and integrity.

Currently we can very positively evaluate the result of the starting of the first Self-Regulation Code of Cerveceros de España, whose dispositions have been respected by most companies dedicated to beer production.

However, behind the experience acquired during these twelve years in effect, it is believed to be best to update it, adapting it to certain observations of current reality through the incorporation of ideas initially not considered. In short, tuning the social commitment of the Spanish brewing sector with consumers in general, in accordance with the guidelines on advertising self-regulation and the protection of minors formulated by the different economic and consumer sectors of the European Union .
